RE: Request for Combination/Division of Property for the 2017 Roll Year The following information is required to initiate the process of combining/dividing property in the City of Flint:

1. Parcel number(s) and address(es) of the property to be combined/divided. 2. All property involved must be contiguous and the same taxing designation. 3. Written legal description(s) of the newly created parcel(s) for unplatted parcels. 4. Statement or Receipt from the Genesee County Treasurer’s Office that any/all delinquent taxes have been paid. 5. The records of the Assessment Division must indicate there is a clear chain of title and that you are the current owner/deedholder of all properties involved in the request. If you are not, you must provide appropriate documentation stating otherwise, and/or provide a sworn affidavit from the deedholder/owner of record granting permission for a combination/division. The affidavit must be signed by the deedholder/owner and notarized. 6. Required non-refundable fee (except for just cause, as determined by the Assessment Division), please see the attached fee schedule. 7. Your signature below will indicate that you have received a copy of these requirements and that you have provided the necessary information to the Assessment Division.

Any information and/or requests received after November 4, 2016 will not be accepted for the 2017 roll year.
