SCHOOL SUPPLIES 2017-2018 Grade One M.Bishop Room 3

Thank you for sending in the $30 requested in April for school supplies.

Your child will also need the following:

 Athletic type shoes suitable for physical education and daily wear. If they are lace-ups your child needs to be able to tie them independently. Otherwise, please send Velcro or elastic footwear. These will be kept at school.

 Book bag/Backpack large enough to carry a lunchbox, communication bag, books and a water bottle.

 Reusable Water Bottle- we keep these on our desks all day

 2 boxes of tissues (send in anytime over the first two weeks, they won’t fit the first day)

Please purchase the following items for the first day of school:

 24 pack Crayola Crayons Please put your child’s name on the outside of the boxes  Thick Crayola Washable Markers as well as initialling each 8 or 10 pack crayon and marker for them in permanent ink. 

 2 three-prong duotangs (white or light colour paper so they can draw on them, not glossy)  4 Scribblers (Hilroy or Laurentian type

32 or 40 pages lined loose-leaf type) Please print your  LeKit box or plastic storage pencil case (may reuse child’s first name on the front of each of from Primary) these items.

 4 white erasers (please do not label)  2 large glue sticks, 40g (please do not label)  2 packages of Black Graphite Pencils HB/2  2 Journals ½ plain, ½ lined  1 full size yellow highlighter (not mini)  2 whiteboard markers  1 Small Notebook  1 Campfire Notebook  2 Large Freezer Zip Locs, 2 Small Snack Size Zip Locs  2 Pocket Folders with zippers (reading bags)  1 Coil Plain Paper Scrapbook  1 pocket folder duotang  4 page protectors  1 sheet of labels for name, subject areas back of chair, classroom charts, coat hooks, Ziplocs etc.  Loose-leaf  Athletic type shoes suitable for physical education and daily wear.
