GLOBAL CROSSING LATIN AMERICA, Buenos Aires, Argentina March 2007 - Present Senior Vice President, Sales & Services After formal acquisition of Impsat’s operation in Latin America, I’m currently responsible for running a u$380M business unit supporting a base of 5,000 corporate customers, with a headcount of 320 people distributed in 10 countries in Latin America, SouthEast USA, Spain & Portugal. While we continue to merge operations, our performance year to date is 108% over plan, with 100% retention of headcount in both companies.
NOKIA, Buenos Aires, Argentina May 2005 – March 2007 Director, Customer & Market Operations Member of the board of directors of Nokia Latin America. Responsible for running an u$80M cost center supporting 40M end users, with a headcount of 55 people (in sourced) and over 600 Service Centers deployed in 14 countries in LTA (outsourced). In charge of deploying Nokia’s Services business model integrating 7 business units (Support Ops, Service Ops, Sales Support, Business Control, Service Engineering & Quality, Environment and Business Development)
GLOBAL CROSSING, Miami, Florida Feb 2001 – May 2005 Vice President, Enterprise Markets In charge of all operations for this multimillion business in South East USA and Latin America on a full P&L basis, with direct reporting responsibilities to the President of Global Crossing International. I was also responsible for the creation of our first business plan, obtained the required funding and launched operations in a new territory for Global Crossing. Successfully hired and deployed 30 direct sales, sales support, marketing and engineer resources in the USA and internationally. Intense working relationship with Europe, Latin America and Asia to accomplish a seamless global structure. Achieved over 115% of our revenue objectives at 87% of the assigned expense budget. Our team grew the revenue base by 650% and 100% in 2002/2003 respectively, ending the year as the second region in the world in net growth. Managed to add 20 new indirect sales channels in 2004 to further penetrate this market while keeping unforced attrition in our direct channel at 0% and customer retention in the first 2 years of operation at 100% AT&T Latin America, Miami, Florida Jan 2000 - Feb 2001 Director, Global Sales After finalizing the acquisition of 3 companies, merging them and launching an IPO, I was assigned to execute the consolidation and “go to market” strategy of AT&T LA’s International business unit. Our main objective was set to provide a highly predictable revenue stream to the new venture, increasing market share and profitability in the international space and contributing directly to AT&T’s gross margin. Recruited and deployed sales resources in Latin America to accomplish 120% growth in customer base and revenues in the first year of operation. Successfully integrated my group to AT&T’s International division, delivering on the modeled synergies with other AT&T investments in the region and additional distribution channels
AT&T Corp, Coral Gables, Florida Sept 1998 -Jan 2000 Director, Marketing & Business Development Provided comprehensive guidance and support to several investment bankers in the development of 5-year business plans and financial models for valuation purposes on potential targets for acquisitions. Acquired 2 telecom providers in Brazil and Argentina (total value: $400M) and merged operations with a third carrier in Chile, Peru and Colombia creating a new public entity: AT&T Latin America. Designed a regional implementation plan based on the availability of both owned and acquired assets. Completed transaction in a record time (14 months) Developed a regional sales/marketing strategy, vertically integrated with AT&T International and other business units in the region

Conducted industry research, market share and competitive intelligence analysis and submitted business cases followed by specific action plans to senior management. AT&T Argentina, Buenos Aires, Argentina Sept 1995 - Mar 1997 Manager, Sales and Marketing Southern Cone In charge of all sales and marketing activities in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia and Paraguay. Managed a team of 4 sales people located in Buenos Aires and Santiago Increased revenues from $1.43 to $2.74M in one year. Achieved 131% of sales quota in 5 months.
