I am writing to you because I feel I meet the qualifications listed in the Leadership Scholarship. I have been part of the Youth Leadership of Calhoun County. As a part of this organization, I represented my school in various activities that dealt with learning how to become a better leader in the community. I have also been the Senior Class President and Band Captain. During my time in these positions, I was tasked with being the voice of reason among my peers and keeping the peace in my school’s band. I believe these experiences make me eligible for the leadership Scholarship.
