Manga Drawing Contest ’09 Guidelines (5th - 6th) & (7th -12th)

 Entry Deadline: Aug. 15, 6 pm.

 How to enter: Either 1) drop off your art with the completed entry form at the library or 2) upload your art and fill out the form online. Your art must fit on a 8 ½ x 11 piece of paper. *No more than two entries of art per participant.

 You may use any medium to create your artwork and there is no limitation to what you can create! It could be a copy of your favorite character, an original character you’ve made up, a scene, or a story in comic strip form. You may get inspiration or instruction from a book, but please do not copy the images inside exactly. All art must be your own.

 Winners will be chosen in 2 divisions: Tween (5th and 6th grade) and Teen (7th-12th grade). Borders gift certificates will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each division in the amounts of $40, $30, and $20. Winners will be announced and contacted on Aug. 16.

 All participants’ entries will be displayed online on the Canton Public Library webpage. *Note, If you are under 18 it is assumed that you have your parents’ permission to have your artwork displayed online.

 After Aug. 16 please remember to reclaim your artwork if you turned it in at the library. Sept. 5 will be the last day to pick up your art. Manga Drawing Contest Entry Form: Entry Deadline: Aug. 15, 6 pm
