On behalf of our President, Felicia Harvey and the members of the Tampa Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., please accept this missive as your invitation to join us as we celebrate our Bi-Annual “Bay Area Founders Day.” Enclosed, please find an informational flyer and registration form.

Our Keynote speaker for this occasion is Val B. Demings, Chief of Police, City of Orlando. Chief Demings is the first African-American female to hold this position in Orange County. In addition to her regular job assignments, Chief Demings served 12 years on the Crisis Negotiation Team, served as Executive Vice President of the International Association of Airport and Seaport Police, and presently serves as co-chair of the Gang Intervention Regional Task Force.

Our theme for this observance is, “A Sisterhood Called to Serve: Transforming Lives, Impacting Communities.” We hope you will plan to attend this momentous event which will be held:
