UNIFORM GUIDANCE, EMORY PLANNING Mission: To ensure that Uniform Guidance is implemented at Emory University in an organized and thorough manner.

Responsibilities: Teams will be responsible for evaluating the impact of proposed changes resulting from implementation of Uniform Guidance and developing plans to address impacts, as needed. They will also be responsible for the identification of impacted University policies and drafting necessary revisions of those as well as proposing a communication plan for their assigned areas. Role: To prepare Emory for the implementation of Uniform Guidance. Mission: To ensure that the policies impacted by changes created by the implementation of Uniform Guidance are reviewed, evaluated and modifications are proposed/drafted/implemented/communicated as appropriate and necessary.

Roles and Responsibilities: Group Members will be responsible to:  Identify what policies will be impacted.  Research what other institutions are doing to meet the requirements.  Determine how we can best take advantage of any new flexibility or changes provided.  Propose and draft revisions to policy/policies o Forward for review, discussion and approval. o Possibly participate in presentations  Develop process for any monitoring programs that are necessary (for example, develop subrecipient monitoring program).  Identify communication and training needs resulting from changes (for assigned area).  Participate in the development of a communication plan.
