Hidden Glen Arts Scholarship Application 2012
Hidden Glen Arts will award four $1000 scholarships to Olathe Public Schools high school seniors who demonstrate a genuine interest in pursuing a career in the visual arts. One scholarship will be awarded to a senior from each of the four district high schools. Winners will be notified by April 1. Winners must later provide proof of college enrollment and the scholarship payment will be made directly to the college/institute of choice. Deadline for all applications is 4:00 p.m., March 2, 2012.

Please submit with this completed application (both sides): 1. Five (5) high resolution digital images of your work representing your achievement in the visual arts. Images should be at least 800x600 pixels, jpeg format on CD. Images should be labeled: Image 1, Image 2, Image 3, Image 4 and Image 5 and should correspond to the statements on page 2 of this application. 2. An official copy of your high school transcript. 3. Overall GPA 2.5 4. Resume showing current achievements in the arts; e.g., awards, honors, any relevant work or volunteer experience, and/or extra curricular activities. 5. A one page personal statement reflecting on what motivates you as an artist and the role that art may play in your adult life.
Criteria, in this order, for judging by a selected panel: The quality of the artwork submitted will be the primary focus of the decision. Current scholastic and artistic achievements.
