 No School Just a reminder there school will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2017 in observance of the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (1/12)

 Students, would you like to get into this Friday's Boys Basketball Game for FREE while doing something thoughtful and generous? The National Honor Society and Boys Basketball Teams have an opportunity for you!!! If you bring TWO ITEMS to donate to the Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center of Cleveland, the National Honor Society has arranged for you to be able to attend the Boys Basketball games for FREE tomorrow night, Friday, January 13th, against Eastlake North. That's right!!! You can save your money and spend it at the concession stand!!! Posters are being put up around the building with suggested donations. Examples include used cell phones, new and unused Kleenex, baby wash, baby lotion, Clorox cleaning wipes, laundry detergent, Crayola washable markers and packages of drawing paper. For a complete list, check out the posters that are in the halls or ask your classroom teacher to see the list. Simply bring the items to the door as normal and members from NHS will help to process your entry. Please note: this offer is only good for STUDENTS...all parents and community members must pay for admission. Again, this offer is only good for STUDENTS. Hope to see you tomorrow night!!!(1/12)

 The South Euclid-Lyndhurst Public Library is hiring pages. Responsibilities include shelving books and emptying book returns. No prior experience needed. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Please apply at cuyahogalibrary.org. The last day for applying is Friday, January 20th.(1/19)

 The French Club will meet on Wednesday, January 18, from 3:15 to 4:20 in B106. We have planned a FUN French movie to get rid of the winter doldrums. Bring your blanket and come ready to laugh!(1/18)

 Attention Seniors - It is time to sign up to be a Prom Fashion Show Model. Pick up your application in the Guidance office and turn it in by January 18th. Spots are limited so sign up soon. (1/18)

 Scholarships The SEL PTA is sponsoring multiple scholarships to students whose parents are PTA members. Applications for this scholarship are downloaded on Naviance or you can pick up a hard copy in the Guidance Office. Please note that applications are due in the Guidance office on February 3rd - no late applications will be accepted. If your parent is not a member of PTA, please attach a PTA membership form, along with $5.00 to your scholarship application. (2/3)

 Attention Class 2017!! If you are reading your “Senior Important Information Booklet”, you are aware that we will have our first Senior Class meeting on January 18 th . READ THE BOOKLET TO GET INFORMATION ON THE DATE…THE TIME…THE LOCATION…Pick up booklet from Mrs. Sanford if you do not have one! o This booklet will explain a ton of information for you and your parents regarding your road to Commencement Day! Information included in the booklet explains credits, cost of Cap and Gown, Prom, student fees due dates and Class Meeting dates and times! Stop by before school, during lunch, seminar/study hall or after school. SPORTS  Attention Returning Girls Soccer Players and any other girl interested in playing soccer next Fall. There will be a short 10-15 minute meeting today, Thursday January 12th, after school at 3:10 in room D207 to talk about the next year. Please see Mr. Foerg if you cannot make the meeting to get the information.
