Currently in the process of designing and implementing a large system to support Veritax, one of the largest tax verification firms in the U.S. ( www.veri-tax.com ).

Starry Software, San Clemente CA Developed an entire corporate application suite consisting of six major ASP.Net applications for Power Plus Utility ( www.powerplusutility.com ) – a major supplier of temporary power for construction companies in the southwestern U.S.. The suite provided both transactional and reporting functionality for finance, sales, invoicing, order management, purchasing, shipping, and inventory. Separate suite components provided for customer and vendor facing functionality.

Clupedia – Clues From Crowds ( www.clupedia.com ) Served as part of the original staff at this internet startup. Did research and provided design of an ultra high scalability .Net system to support many millions of calls per hour from browsers installed throughout the world. Design consisted of I.E and FireFox add- ins calling WCF modules hosted on a large web farm.

Wrote “PrintGrid,” a .Net component that will produce a Crystal Report of any .Net Datagrid or Gridview contents. PrintGrid is used globally by hundreds of .Net developers. Developed other useful components viewable at deanblakely.com.

AOL Time Warner - Warner Bros., Burbank CA - 2001-2002 Director of Database Administration Responsible for database administrators and database technology at Warner Bros. Supported eight different brands including DB2, UDB, Oracle, Sybase, and SQL Server database systems running on IBM Mainframe, UNIX and NT servers. Personally did DBA work for SQL Server, UDB/DB2, and Oracle. Obtained a technical certification in IBM UDB.
