This week in ELA, students will:

Work on identifying sentences as compound, complex or simple.  Work on identifying subjects and predicates in order to explain their corrections.  Read chapters 10-24 of Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper.  Reflect on the reading and cite evidence to support their claims.  Work on their reading goals. The 4th book of the quarter is due December 8.  Complete and turn in the article of the week (due each Monday).

Monday 12/04 - The stemscope article from Friday will be reviewed today and students will take some additional notes on endothermic and exothermic reaction.

Tuesday 12/05 - The students will read an informational article on endothermic and exothermic reactions.

Wednesday 12/06 - There will be a final review of Endothermic and exothermic reactions today.

Thursday 12/07- There will be a quiz today over endothermic and exothermic reactions.

Friday 12/08 - We will begin looking at the relationship between heat and kinetic energy today.
