This week in ELA, students will:
Work on identifying sentences as compound, complex or simple. Work on identifying subjects and predicates in order to explain their corrections. Read chapters 10-24 of Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper. Reflect on the reading and cite evidence to support their claims. Work on their reading goals. The 4th book of the quarter is due December 8. Complete and turn in the article of the week (due each Monday).

Monday 12/04 - The stemscope article from Friday will be reviewed today and students will take some additional notes on endothermic and exothermic reaction.
Tuesday 12/05 - The students will read an informational article on endothermic and exothermic reactions.
Wednesday 12/06 - There will be a final review of Endothermic and exothermic reactions today.
Thursday 12/07- There will be a quiz today over endothermic and exothermic reactions.
Friday 12/08 - We will begin looking at the relationship between heat and kinetic energy today.
