3. Would you considering hiring our agency again in the future? Why or why not?

I absolutely would hire your agency again in the future. You are creative and hardworking, and always think outside the box. It helps to have students working on this, since they know how students think and how they will best respond to a certain tactic. 4. How many people purchased fall play tickets? How does this number compare with last year’s attendance rate and your expectations for this year’s production?

Only about 650 purchased tickets in total. This was down quite a bit from last year. I was disappointed in these numbers, but early ice storms on Saturday probably decreased attendance by quite a bit that evening. Also, last year was a children’s show and lots of little girls enthusiastically dressed as princesses and came to the show. We didn’t have as powerful of a hook this year.

5. Did the theater program earn a profit as a result of event attendance? If available, please specify the profit margin so that we can better analyze the quantitative data.

No, we unfortunately did not. The set and costumes were expensive, and we didn’t earn enough in ticket sales to make a profit. This was not the agency’s fault however, because I made an early executive decision to not charge $8 at the door for students since I wanted to really target middle school students. This backfired, since not a lot of middle school students came and we lost a ton of money to high schoolers only paying $4 at the door.

6. Please comment on our timeliness and level of professionalism. Do you feel that we met your deadlines and created professional promotional materials? If not, let us know how we can improve.

The agency completed everything on time and in a professional manner. I was particularly impressed with the initial PowerPoint and with our interview session. The Wanted posters were incredibly well done and a big hit with my cast.

The only thing that was lacking in professionalism a bit was the raffle. I felt I could have been given more information about selling, and the actual sales at the door. We were scrambling on that Thursday to get someone to sell those raffle tickets.

7. Please offer any closing remarks and/or suggestions for improvement.

I would just like to thank every member of Mrs. Kaszonyi’s Into to PR class for their creativity, hard work and overall effort. Early on, I decided to put all of the fall play publicity in your hands and you didn’t disappoint. I think we all learned some lessons about publicity and ticket selling at the middle school, and I hope you enjoyed working on this as much as I enjoyed seeing you develop your ideas and watching them come to fruition.

Thank you for taking the time to complete our survey! We hope to work with you again in the future.
