The format of the TB Update and Skin Test Certification Workshop has changed. Participants will be required to take an online training, print out a certificate of completion, and bring the certificate to the class. The onsite classroom time will be about 3 hours. The online course takes about 1 ½ hours (2 hours max), so allow enough time prior to class. COURSE REGISTRANTS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED TO ONSITE TRAINING WITHOUT EVIDENCE OF COMPLETION OF ONLINE COURSE LISTED BELOW.

Online Course: TB 101 for Health Care Workers (CDC course)

Course Number: WB1538

1) Go to www.cdc.gov/tceonline

2) Sign in under “Participant Services” by choosing “New Participant” or “Participant Login.”

3) Choose “Search and Register.”

4) On the “Online Search” page, type in WB1538 in Keyword search.

5) The page “TB 101 for Health Care Workers” will appear. About 1/3 way down the page is “Course Link” and at the bottom of the page is a box for “Register Here”. You can either choose to register first and then take the course or take the course first, and then register. 6) Under “Register Here” you must choose one of the options in the right column. Registrants ineligible for credits must choose Audit. Then Submit. Demographic questions must be answered, then Submit.

7) After registering, you must go back to “Search and Register” to again search for the course, WB1538.

8) When finished, return to “Participants Services” screen and choose Evaluation and Tasks. “Your Scheduled Courses” page comes up – choose Self-Study Courses. Under ” Evaluation/Posttest” pick Take Evaluation/Posttest. (This step is necessary in order to be able to print out a certificate.) Those auditing the course will not be presented with a posttest.

9) Return to “Participants Services” and choose Transcripts and Certificate. Under “Transcript – All Courses”, you will see “Certificate”. Click on Certificate on the same line that the course is listed. Print out the certificate and bring to class.
