o What caused this tsunami? Be as detailed as possible. If possible include:

. The type of fault line

. The name of the fault line

. The location of the fault line

o How many lives lost due to this tsunami

o Describe the aftermath of the devastation (could be described in $$)

o How does this area prepare for future tsunamis?

o Expectations for the future

o How prone is this area to more tsunamis?

o Miscellaneous (random facts)

o Keep track of every website/reference book, or any other material used to gather this information

o Where were the epicenter and/or focus of the earthquake?

o What countries and/or cities did it affect?

o What were the effects? For example, did buildings fall, bridges collapse, etc?

o Did it produce any other lithospheric events such as a tsunami, landslide, etc? If so, where?

o What was the magnitude of the earthquake? What does this mean?

o How many lives were lost?

o What was the total estimated damage? This is usually expressed in amounts of money.

o What are people doing to prevent such damages in the future?

o How was volcano formed (subduction, rifting, hotzone)

o What kind of plate boundary does volcano reside on

o Explosive history

o Current Status (Dormant, Active)

o Expectations for the future

o Danger Level (any towns near, estimated death rate if explodes, etc)

o How are people being prepared for a potential explosion (warning systems, etc)

o Miscellaneous (random facts)
