Jered Harrison 4-H & FFA Memorial Scholarship Established 2008 Awardee to receive $1000

Jered was an active member in the Carroll County 4-H program and the South Carroll FFA. He showed beef steers, sheep and swine. Sadly, he lost his life in a farming accident at the young age of 26. This scholarship has been established in his memory to provide opportunity for other young 4-H and FFA members. We thank you for taking the time to apply.

Eligibility Requirements: 1 Must be a member in good standing of a Carroll County 4-H Club or FFA Chapter in 2012. Must be accepted to or already attending a College, Vocational School or any other career-based learning program. 2 Must exhibit a livestock project at the County level. 3 Applications must be complete.

Selection will be based on 1 Contents of application including essay responses and letters of recommendation. 2 Candidates may be interviewed. Please include a phone number and email address to be reached.

This Scholarship may be awarded more than once to any Candidate as long as eligibility requirements are met.

The decision of the selection committee will be final. The recipient will be recognized at the 2012 Carroll County 4-H/FFA Livestock Sale.
