If you will be showing, in ONE show only, select either SHOW 1 or SHOW 2, if you are showing both then please check both SHOW 1 & SHOW 2 & fill out the information and mail it to the Show Secretary with the Stall Request Form.

MGR Show rules pertain to both shows.

Goats can be checked in from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Friday September 25, 2015 for SHOW 1 and between 7:00 am to 8:00 am on Saturday, September 26, 2015 for SHOW 2

Show 1 will start promptly at 5:00 pm on Sept 25th, Show 2 will start promptly at 8:30am on Sept. 26th

MGR National Show will start approximately at 1pm or at the close of show 2

1. Goats must be registered by the Myotonic Goat Registry. The ORIGINAL registration certificate MUST accompany the goat during check-in. Kids under three (3) months of age must be registered for any sanctioned classes. No pending registrations will be accepted at check-in. 2. Age eligibility for classes will be determined by date of birth on the registration certificate. 3. The full correct registered name of goat must be used on the entry forms. 4. The goats permanent ID (USDA scrapie tag, tattoo, or microchip) must be on the Health Certificate and registration from the MGR. 5. The correct Breeder/Exhibitor name as on the Reg. Certificate must be on the entry form, unless you have a signed transfer application that is dated 45 days or less to the show date. 6. Substitutions will be allowed at Check-in within the same class at no charge. 7. Show 1 will start promptly at 5:00pm on Friday, show 2 promptly at 8:30am on Saturday. 8. Goats must be checked in from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Friday September 25, 2015 for SHOW 1 and between 7:00 am to 8:00 am on Saturday, September 26, 2015 for SHOW 2. 9. Goats will be released immediately after the show but may stay until September 27, 2015. 10. All goats MUST have a health certificate not dated before September 4, 2015 and the show address must be your destination. Scrapie rules apply. If you use microchips, you must furnish a reader. Tattoos MUST be legible. Scrapie tags are acceptable. You MUST bring an extra copy of your goat's health certificate that will be retained by the show secretary. 11. All goats must be shown with collar. Bucks must be secure at all times. 12. Show secretary reserves the right to split large classes. 13. Entry fee: $8.00 per goat/ per show including kids in sanctioned classes. 14. Entries must be received no later than September 18, 2015 to be in the show book, entries will be accepted up till the start of the show as long as they are listed on your health certificate. 15. MGR Rules to govern and to take precedence over all others 16. No refunds of entry fees under any circumstances. 17. This is a ribbon and points show. Any available awards will be announced at the show. 18. Goats may be sold by private treaty. Any goats sold must be entered in the show. 19. Any item that comes up that is not specifically covered by these rules will be decided by the show committee and their decision will be final. 20. All goats entering (IN) for exhibition must meet all the requirements for entry into (IN). Goats may be examined on grounds by show personnel or state Veterinarian. Goats showing evidence of disease, particularly foot rot, sore mouth, abscesses will not be allowed to enter the barn or show and may be released by officials. 21. No animal with an open wound shall be allowed to be unloaded on the showground. The organizers of this show and the facility will not be liable for any loss, damages or accidents to animals, persons or property while at the show grounds. Youth exhibitors are to be accompanied by a responsible adult. 22. No alcoholic beverages or smoking in the barns or arena allowed. 23. Good Sportsmanship is expected at all times. 24. Straw is the only form of bedding that will be allowed and is $5 per bale, 1 bale will cover 2 pens, straw MUST be pre-ordered with your entry form. You are welcome to bring your own as well. 25. Pens are $10ea for the duration of the weekend and will be cleaned by show staff at conclusion of the show. 26. Entry fees are due at time of entry, NO EXCEPTIONS! Host Hotel:

Myotonic Goat Show Exhibitors

May 8 & 9, 2015 and September 24-26, 2015: National Show

Hampton Inn is honored to be named the host hotel for these special events! Our base rates during both of these events is currently set at $119, however we are happy to offer an Exhibitors only, discount room rate of $82.00 plus tax, per room, per night. We are holding a variety of room types under group block “Myotonic Exhibitors” for both events (May and September).

To claim a room simply call the hotel directly at 812-738-6688 and ask for a room in the “Myotonic Exhibitors” group, and state your arrival date. The Guest Service agent will get your personal information, verify arrival/departure dates, room type preference and secure a credit card for guarantee. Rooms must be claimed for the May event by May 1st, and by September 16 for the September event.
