Dear Principal,

I am writing to you on behalf of student full name, he is a student at School Name. I also have the pleasure of being his Head Master at the Community school in Katy, TX.

I want to share with you that Student first name has been chosen to recite the Holy Quran in a very distinguished gathering with an elite group of people in the presence of our spiritual leader, Dr Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb (tus). This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a student, student first name and his family would not want to miss this event. This congregation also celebrates the 50 th anniversary of Dr Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin’s succession to the Fatimid throne, which makes it even more special and august occasion. The congregation will be held in Mumbai, India and we hope to get a final itinerary soon. Tentatively, the program is likely to be scheduled between May 27th and June 6th 2013. He will have to go there at least few days in advance so that he is part of the rehearsal for the event. I wish we would’ve had more notice for this event but I’m sure you will understand that organizing these landmark events is a huge undertaking and coordinators have their hands full in India.
