SUBJECT: CC:DA Webmaster Report, June 9, 2010

This report summarizes the status of the CC:DA Website to date:

ALA Site Migration Update

There are two updates concerning the ALA Site migration:

1. In March, I submitted an updated form to the ALCTS section of the ALA site describing CC:DA. That page can be found here: http://www.ala.org/ala/mgrps/divs/alcts/mgrps/ccs/cmtes/ccda/ats-ccscat.cfm. 2. ALA created a dual homepage for CC:DA that can be found here: http://alcts.ala.org/ccda/. This page can be used as the basis for discussion as to how the Committee would like to proceed with the development of pages at the ALA. The page is not noticeable to the public unless you really look for it at the CC:DA page cited item number 1.

The existing site at Pennsylvania State University continues to be updated as needed. The Webmaster wishes to express her continued thanks to John Attig for his assistance in maintaining the existing site.

ALA Connect

The webmaster updated ALA Connect’s CC:DA (http://connect.ala.org/node/71906) site with the link to the Annual agenda and updated the Calendar with the dates and times of the annual conference meetings. Webmaster Term expiration

In accordance with the Committee procedures, the webmaster’s current term expires in June 2010. Due to shifts in job priorities and other commitments, I will not be seeking reappointment. I was hopeful I could remain on board until a replacement could be found, but shifting work priorities, including a reduction in workforce at Harvard University, will not permit me to stay on after 2010 ALA Annual. John Attig has offered to maintain the site until a replacement can be found.
