QUEST HOMEWORK REGISTRATION TUTORIAL

This is a tutorial explaining how to log into the Quest homework website. https://quest.cns.utexas.edu/student

Click the above link to enter the Quest website. Follow the screen instructions to Create a new UT EID.

Images below are the step by step instructions to enter the UT EID system & enroll into the class for the required online homework for Principles of Technology.

Step 1: Enter the login website. Step 2 – Create a new UT EID

Step 3 – Begin Process **NOTE IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A UT EID FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS TILL YOUR OLD ONE CAN BE CLAIMED**

Step 4 - Select NO for ALL relationship questions. Step 5 – Enter Personal information **Only enter your FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, DATE OF BIRTH AND

AN EMAIL ADDRESS****

Step 5b RETURNING STUDENTS **INCASE YOUR HAVE AN OLD ID – THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO CLAIM IT**

BE SURE TO CLICK THE BOX TO CLAIM YOUR ID Step 6 – Enter PW reset questions **NOTE ALL 3 MUST BE COMPLETED**

Step 7 – ENTER YOUR PASSWORD – FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS

YOUR PASSWORK MAY NOT HAVE YOUR NAME OR BIRTHDATE IN IT.

IT MUST HAVE 8 CHARACTERS AND A NUMBER.

Step 8 – Verify all information – MAKE SURE ALL YOUR INFORMATION IS CORRECT Step 9 – Obtain your UT EID **WRITE THIS IN YOUR NOTEBOOK – IT IS YOUR LOGIN**

EMAIL THIS ID TO YOUR TEACHER WITH YOUR PASSWORD

Step 10 – Log into Quest Step 11 – Enroll into class

Step 12 – Click “enroll in new course”

Enter Unique Course ID and Lookup course information

UNIQUE ID’s FOR CLASSES – SELECT YOUR CLASS PERIOD TO ENROLL IN

YOU WILL OBTAIN THIS COURSE NUMBER FROM YOUR TEACHER

Step 14 – Request Enrollment in the class You have now completed registration and will be accepted by your teacher.
