Description Bequests: ‘…being sound in mind…I bequeath my soul into ye hands of my Savior who hath purchased it with his blood and my body to Christian burial being assured by my faith in Christ of a ioyful resurrection at the last day’

- to ‘the poor of this parish’ five shillings to be paid five months after testator’s death - to wife Phillip ‘the bed wheron I now lye wth bedsteed, one paire of Cotton Sheets 1 payre of blanketts Coverlett boulster and pillowes, & one brasse pan called the working pan and the little Crock wth the furniture belonging to the bedsteed form[er]ly mentioned’. She shall for her life ‘injoy my Tenem[en]t in Hendra’ if she lives, ‘if the lives uppo[n] my lease Live so Long’, Phillip to pay out of Hendra 36 shillings yearly to testator’s son in law Jacob Phillips. After Phillip’s death the tenement to go to testator’s daughter Grace Phillips for her life, after the death of her to Jacob Phillip and his children for the unexpired term of the lease. - to daughter in law Johan [Joanna] Hockey’s children £5 apiece, payable one year after testator’s death - to Elizabeth Hockey’s children £5 apiece, payable one year after testator’s death - to son Joseph’s children £5 apiece - to Tippett Cole’s children two shillings apiece - [holes in document …’Brayes children…Martyn … Georg Trebithick’s children two shillings a piece’ - to grandson Georg Phillips a mare colt one year old and to the rest of jacob Phillips’ children a shilling apiece - to Jacob Phillips my best suit and coats - to George Trevithick my second suit - to son Joseph Hockey all the rest of goods and chattels not yet given.
