ALEXANDRIA QUAD MEET Tuesday May 12, 2015 Alexandria Area High School MEET INFORMATION Participating schools: Alexandria, Buffalo, Sartell, Willmar

1. Entries: Unlimited

HY-TEK ROSTERS will be pulled from the MSHSL WEBSITE BY 12:00PM Monday, May 11th Competitor numbers will be issued and emailed to coaches. Athletes should have the numbers on their left hand for the meet Please send NAMES AND DISTANCE OF THROWERS to [email protected] by 12:00PM Monday May 11th.

2. Only officials, coaches, or contestants are permitted inside the track. Please keep team camps on the outside of the stadium in the grass area on the North side. Final Results will be emailed to coaches directly following the meet. Please see attached Turf Infield Protocol

3. Field events will start at 4:00 and track events will start at 4:15- please see attached time schedule.

4. Scoring: Individual Events: 6, 4, 3, 2, 1 Relays: 6, 4, 2

5. National Federation rules and MSHSL modifications will govern the meet.

6. Running: All races will be timed finals. (NO PRELIMS) Fast heat will be first. Field: 4 throws or jumps cafeteria style, no prelims. 7. Running Events:  Athletes should report to the clerk of course by the second call. If athlete is in both running and field event and time is a conflict.  Spikes of 1/8” ONLY  All races will be timed finals.  The 3200m run will be run combined boys and girls in one heat.  The 4x400 relay will use a 3-turn stagger (2nd runner cuts after first turn).

8. Field Events:  Pole Vault and High Jump . Starting heights and increments will be decided at the start of the meet. . Please have athletes check out to run track events and return as soon as possible to field events.  Girls’ long jump and boys’ triple jump will run first in separate pits followed by boys long jump and girls triple jump.  Shot put and discus will be flighted at the site.

9. Results will be posted as soon as possible in the window of the press box. 10. Concessions and restrooms will be available in the plaza area.
