2007 Mid-Tex Farm & Ranch Show Scholarship

2016/2017 GREATER WACO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SPORT LUNCHEON SCHOLARSHIP SERIES PRESENTED BY RAISING CANE’S ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

The Sport Luncheon Scholarship Committee is awarding two (2) scholarships to two (2) outstanding high school students in McLennan County at each of the three Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce Sport Luncheons (a total of six scholarships will be awarded). The scholarships for $500 each will be presented at the Tip Off Luncheon, First Pitch Luncheon and Kick Off Luncheon at the Baylor University Ferrell Center. Attendance of the recipient at this event is expected.

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS OF APPLICANT

To be eligible, a student must:

M be a 2017 graduate of a McLennan County High School;

M have an overall high school grade average of B;

M enroll in college in the fall of 2017;

M include ACT and/or SAT test scores, if possible;

M provide a copy of most up to date High School Transcript;

SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIEMENTS FOR EACH SPECIFIC SCHOLARSHIP

Tip Off Luncheon Scholarship  an active member of the basketball team and/or a trainer/manager  provide a completed application by October 5, 2016

First Pitch Luncheon Scholarship  an active member of the baseball or softball team and/or a trainer/manager  provide a completed application by December 16, 2016

Kick Off Luncheon Scholarship  an active member of the football team, a trainer/manager for the football team, a cheerleader, member of the drill team, color guard or band.  provide a completed application by April 1, 2016
