The Real World X Animal Farm(Movie)

Jakub Kotík 7EB The real world x Animal farm(movie)

The Great october socialist revolution- action, that absolutely has changed the history! It was in 1917 at the instigation of Vladimir Iljič Uljanov (Lenin). Because of this revolution the Soviet union had originated and the communism had spread to a massive part of the world. The Animal farm is allegorical novella written by George Orwell as a fable. At the beginning, on the Manor farm, owned by Mr. Jones, the pig old Major calls all animals for a meeting. The old Major, who is an allegory of Karl Marx and Lenin, the founders of communism, had a speech to animals. He told them about domination of Mr. Jones and encouraged them to start a revolution to live better life. On his impulse they did it and expelled Mr. Jones out of farm. This was in fact the Great october socialist revolution. When the farm was their, they renamed it to Animal farm and wrote rules to the wall: No animal shall sleep in a bed. No animal shall drink alcohol. No animal shall kill any other animal…. Then they all worked as good as they could, had enough food and lived happily. Then a pig Snowball had a plan how to make an energy for the farm- to build a windmill, but pig Napoleon stole him this plan, because he wanted to be admired and let him kill by dogs, that Napoleon trained. This also happened in a fact. Lev Davidovič Trockij, who symbolizes Snowball, really had a plan to industrialize and electrify the Soviet union and really had a conflict with Stalin (Napoleon), who expelled him and later Stalin let him kill by secret police (the Napolen’s dogs). When animals asked, where Snowball is, the Napoleon’s right hand Squealer invented a false story, that Snowball was a traitor and that thay had to listen Napoleon. Then Napoleon showed „his“ plan to animals which started to build the windmill, especially horse Boxer and donkey Benjamin. Then the tyranny from the pigs begins. All animals (cows, chickens, sheeps, horses, goats…) were working for pigs, who lived in Mr. Jones’s house and were drinking alcohol, sleeping in bed, commanding other animals and changing the rules: No animal shall sleep in a bed with sheets. No animal shall drink alcohol to excess. No animal shall kill any other animal without cause or All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others. The year 1948- official communist takeover in Czechoslovakia. A new era of life begin. High posed people, politicians or people who support communism had a wonderful life. They were rich, they had property and they could dominate people. Communism is a political ideology, which have a perpect idea- to have common property and to reject differences between people, but it has always failed. There was censorship, arrests, long queues for everything, waiting lists for cars or electronics, you couldn’t travel… If there was a problem from their side, they always lied or said, that there had been a bug from west (USA, England…), they were changing rules as they want and exactly true was: All are equal, but some are more equal than others. Finally the toilworn animals were looking at pigs, that were having dinner with people and thinking about them, that the pigs are the same as people. So, this story was the same with reality and I am glad that I was born after the Velvet revolution (the fall of communist regime in 1989). Very interesting is, that this novel was published in 1945- 3 years before the communist takeover in Czechoslovakia- He predicted some facts ahead.
