Dear Director of Charitable Contributions:

I am writing to you for two purposes; the first is to introduce you to our organization, and the second is requesting your support for our ongoing efforts with our team. Last year over 400 children and 100 volunteers helped to shape our little league community in Mystic. Our goal is to provide them with the financial stability to continue this year and into the future.

Mystic has been fortunate in its ability to provide the highest quality Little League program to our community. This is due to local businesses and individual support. Mystic Little League receives no funding from our surrounding towns -- Groton or Stonington. We are supported entirely by volunteer financial donations.

As we prepare for the 2017 Mystic Little League Baseball/Softball season, the League has begun our fundraising campaign. Fundraising makes it possible for our town to continue year-round maintenance of all our fields, scoreboards, bleachers, to purchase uniforms and equipment, and to keep our league running.

Mystic Little League is proud to have won the District Championships in 2016. We are now honored to be hosting the All Star games for 2017, however we are in desperate need of a new Club House on our Rossie 1 field. It is our hope with your generous donation to our fundraiser, we can reach our goals and make Rossie field our “field of dreams" and support our community, families, and children.

On April 1st, 2017, Mystic Little League will host our 4th annual fundraising dinner/dance and attendees will be able to purchase auction items and participate in raffles. It is our hope that you can donate an item for this event.
