Please see the map for getting to the Chiles Center, University of Portland. Due to construction, you may need to adjust your route and plan additional time for your trip. Temporary Traffic Impacts PBOT is gearing up for a retaining wall project along N Willamette Boulevard between N Chase Ave. and N Washburne Ave. and is closing Willamette Blvd. to northbound traffic from May 23 through “early Fall 2016.” Unfortunately, a partial road closure will be required to complete the retaining wall work. The westbound/northbound lane carrying N Willamette Blvd toward the University of Portland will be closed to all motorized vehicle traffic all hours and all days during the project duration. A detour along N Lombard St will be in effect for re-routed traffic. Southbound/eastbound traffic on N Willamette Blvd will be maintained and will remain unchanged during the Project. Local access to residents near the project will be provided at all times. Pedestrian and bicycle traffic will be allowed to use the sidewalks on the north side of N Willamette Blvd during the course of construction. The southbound/eastbound bicycle lane will remain open, even during the partial road closure.
