Staff Present: Ann Steinberg, Tracy Fernandez, Ray Betancourt, Wilda Wallace

I. Job Fair A. Aerotech News and Review sponsorship funded 17th Annual Spring Job Fair B. Total Expenditure for Job Fair $3979.87 C. 56 employers attended D. 800 to 1000 students and community members E. 3 AVC office represented: JPC, Outreach, and Human Resources F. A.V. Notary owners Jan and Jim Tatangelo donated $50.00 to JPC Foundation Fund G. Pepsico donated beverages for our employers H. 5 Community Partners attended: South Valley WorkSource Center, Jewish Vocational Services, Antelope Valley WorkSource Center, EDD- Veteran’s Representatives, and Goodwill of Southern California I. Auxiliary account balance $5019.07 J. JPC Foundation fund balance $1071.13

II. JPC Numbers for the Month of March

A. Student Worker SERF’s processed 68 B. 16 Termination forms processed C. 72 Online Student Worker orientation completed D. 106 new students registered in CCN E. 10 non students registered in CCN F. 34 Jobs posted in CCN G. 2240 Student conducted job search on CCN H. 115 Resumes Submitted I. 483 Intakes J. 112 New Registrants III. In House Training Requests A. Ray and Tracy requesting training for Access data base

1 B. Ann Suggested JPC staff have a Word 2010 version training C. JPC Staff to restart conducting student worker orientations also mandatory students who have been terminated for cause. IV. Evaluations A. Self-evaluations for annual Evaluations to be turned into Ann as soon as possible. Opt Out option available for self-evaluation to be determined by each individual employee. V. Budget A. JPC staff to look at our budget and come up with ideas to mitigate budget cuts by April 30th to be turned into the District. B. College Central Network was approved on 04/09/12 through SB70 funding, although JPC needs to start looking into funding for next year. CCN’s contract will expire on 05/14/13. Ann will speak to Tom about SB70 Funding CCN again next year.
