Thank you so much for the generous Christmas gift. Your support, prayers, and words of encouragement throughout this past year and as we begin 2018 are sincerely appreciated. We truly feel blessed to be part of such a loving church family and youth group. In Him, Jer & Jodi
I can't thank you enough for all your showering of support, thoughtfulness, and generosity you have shown me and my family. All of it has been greatly appreciated! Stacey & family
What's Happening
Welcome Guests! We are so glad to have you worshipping here at Lynnville Friends. Join us for coffee and fellowship in the basement following the service. There is Sunday school for kids and adults following coffee. Please fill out a welcome card located in the pew or under the chairs and drop it in the offering plate. Children’s bulletins are located at the back of the sanctuary for kids to pick up.
Feel free to pick up a missions offering envelope from the back table and place in the offering plate at any time.
Offering for 12-24-17...... $7491.00 “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10
Ladies!! We will be starting a new study in January. The new study is entitled "Esther--It's Tough Being a Woman" and will begin on January 10. If you are interested in joining us on Wednesday nights, we would love to have you join us. Contact Missi Bogaard at 219.775.5234 or [email protected] for more information or to order a book.
The ladies are quilting on Thursdays so feel free to join them on these dates: January 11 & 25 and February 8. If you have any questions contact Faye Vos.
The fellowship time clipboard will be coming around today. Please take a moment and sign up to bring some goodies in January and February. The latest newsletters from the missionaries we support can be found on the missions bulletin board downstairs across from the drinking fountain and also on the church website under the missions tab. Their contact information can also be found on the website.
I am in the process of making a new greeters schedule for 2018. I will be going down the church directory list and putting it together in alphabetical order. If you are not currently in the directory but would like to be included or if you would like your name left off then please let me know. Thanks! Stacey
Do you have a project at home that you could use some help with? This is an opportunity to ask our FOCUS group to provide a service for you in return for a freewill donation. Any donation received will go towards the expenses of the 2018 mission trip. Examples of tasks that the FOCUS group will do: various yard work, cleaning, painting, cooking, babysitting, Christmas decorating, gift wrapping, etc. Maybe you would like to learn something new on the computer. We have some great students that are ready to help you out. Please contact Jer at 641-780-9972 or 594-3720.
