Directions: 1. Select a franchise opportunity that you think you would enjoy and be good operating. A business must also be profitable – you will want to find a franchise opportunity that you think will succeed financially. Use Franchise Zone (http://www.entrepreneur.com/franchises/index.html), an online directory that provides background information on hundreds of franchise opportunities.

2. Record your choice and what you learn about the franchise. A list of questions is provided to remind you of points that all investors should consider when selecting a franchise. Explain your answers in complete sentences. This worksheet is worth 30 points. HINT: If you need more information about a specific franchiser, a company web address is usually provided in the Franchise Zone directory.

3. Your franchise must be approved by Mr. Hakim.
