 BOILERS: “Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustion Boiler” Overview: CFBC stands for circulating fluidized combustion bed, in these boiler waste materials cum coal is used with sorbent(limestone, it is added to absorb sulfur emission in combustor) as fuel for combustion in boiler. The fuel is feds in from lower side of furnace where it is kept suspended and is burnt by upward flow of air. With increase in air velocity, a turbulent climate is formed, this burns fuel. Due to high gas velocities the fuel ash and un-burnt fuel are carried out of the combustor with the flue gases. These are then collected by a recycling cyclone separator and returned to lower furnace. The heat transfer surfaces are usually embedded in the fluidized bed and steam generated is passed through the conventional steam cycle operating on Rankine Cycle.

Major Project :

 MECHANICAL CRANE: “Mechanical Crane Using Three Link Arrangement”

Overview: It is a device, that uses four mechanical link arrangement connected in pair with three DC motor to rotate these links clockwise and anti-clockwise direction. The movement of these four links is similar to that of movement of Human Hand as, arm and forearm like its initial two links and palm like its jaw and these link are connected by each other by three motors at location shoulder and elbow for its initial two links and at wrist for its last two link as jaw respectively. It’s circuit has a step-down transformer,IN4007 rectifying diode and a capacitor which converts 220 v AC supply into 12v DC supply to motors. The three motors are connected by DPDT switches, when pressed changes the supply. Each motor have +ve and –ve wire, combination +ve to +ve and –ve to –ve makes clockwise and +ve to –ve and –ve to +ve makes anti-clockwise rotation. [email protected] 09540643726
