16 Rule / Hand book changes;

(1) The committee propose to “Allow bait fishing on River Churnet at Rocester for one season from November 1st 2012 until March 14th 2013. No ledgering or keep nets and bait to be maggots or sweet corn only. All fish to be returned and catches must be reordered.” therefore rule 8 requires’ amendment.

(2) Requests by the membership of the inclusion of Association fishing on the lower Dove at Dovedale; therefore the hand book requires amendment.

(3) The committee propose to alter the fishing conditions at Rocester; therefore the hand book requires amendment.

(4) The tenant farmer has requested that the parking arrangements at Rocester be altered; therefore the hand book requires amendment.

1. Rule 8 “Fishing is by fly only with the exception of the River Churnet at Rocester where “trotting” (no ledgering) maggot or sweet corn only, is allowed from November 1st until 14th March. All dates inclusive. No keepnets. All catches to be recorded.”

2. Handbook p 16-21. The addition to the handbook of the lower Dovedale fishing.

3. Handbook p 22-23. The alteration to fishing conditions at Rocester.” This water shall be restricted to three rods at any one time in total, on either the Dove or the Churnet. It is hoped that this system will simplify the booking and give all members the chance to fish this water.”

4. Handbook p 22-23. The alteration to parking arrangements at Rocester. “Parking is available to members through the first gate on the lane signed footpath, see the top picture. Use the hard standing area for parking and please ensure all gates are closed”.

5. Handbook p4. 4 “The Association shall comprise of a President, Vice President, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, members and honorary members. The role of Secretary and Treasurer will hold an annual honorarium with the amount to be decided at the AGM and after 5 years continual service these roles and including that of the Chairman, will acquire non- subscription honorary status.”

18 Item for discussion at the AGM

Members’ children and grandchildren; Members' children/grandchildren under 16 years of age shall be permitted to accompany the Member to fish the Associations waters without payment, subject to the following conditions:-

(1) Up to two children/grandchildren may accompany the Member at any one time and will be subject to the Association’s rules including wearing an Identification badge.

(2) The child/children shall be accompanied by the Member AT ALL TIMES when fishing or visiting Association waters and under no circumstances will a Member's child/grandchild be allowed to fish or visit Association waters unless accompanied by the Member.

(3) The Member shall be responsible for the child/children’s conduct and safety and no liability will be accepted by the Association or the owners or lessors in the event of any accident or injury involving a Member's child/grandchild while fishing or visiting Association waters.

(4) On attaining the age of 16 years the children/grandchildren of any Association Member shall be eligible for Full Membership

Voting if required shall be on the night with Proposer and Seconder coming from the meeting.
