2013-2014 Reference Team Member, Family for Every Child: Technical advisor and team member to a consultancy by Family for Every Child for UNICEF and BCN on Working Paper on the Role of Gatekeeping Mechanisms on Strengthening Family-based Care and Reforming Alternative Care Systems. 2013 Consultant, UNICEF Egypt. In collaboration with government and other stakeholders, developed a strategy to institutionalize social work and case management practices in the delivery of child protection services. 2012-2013 Consultant, UNICEF Ethiopia. Assessed the current state of social work education in Ethiopia for the Ministries of Education and Labour to aid in their effort to update and standardize the national curricula, competencies and occupational standards for training social welfare workforce. 2012 Consultant, UNICEF Nepal. between child adopted from Samoa and their children, as a restorative justice mechanism arising out of the Focus on Children adoption case.  Member (2011-2014), Guardian ad Litem Oversight Committee; oversees the compliance of attorneys appointed to protect children’s best interest while they are in the public child welfare system, advocates for policies and resources to serve children’s best interest.  Member (2003-2005), State Homeless Coordinating Committee; oversees the housing policy development and disburses public and private housing assistance funds for low income population.  Board of Trustees, Korean American Society of Utah (1993-2004). Oversaw funding and operation of the Society, planned cultural and educational activities, sponsored conferences and provided liaison services for Korean-Americans living in Utah.  Governor’s Advisory Board on Asian Affairs, State of Utah (2000-2003).
