OVERDUE NOTICE AND COST QUOTATION

THIS NOTICE IS TO BE RETURNED TO THE MEDIA CENTER AFTER BEING SIGNED BY THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN.

Dear Parents:

Our records indicate that your child, ______, has one or more library books that are overdue by more than one (1) month. The library would much rather have books returned than your money. However, when books cannot be found, the library must be reimbursed so that the book can be replaced. If library books have been returned in damaged condition, the person to whom it was last checked out is responsible for the cost of replacing the book. The school makes every effort to locate lost books before this bill is sent home. The replacement cost of every book in the library is $20.00. You may pay by cash or a check made payable to “Alderwood”.

Please be aware that students will not be able to access their report cards until their individual library record has been cleared nor are they allowed to check out books from the library. If the book has been paid for, and then is found at a later date in the same school year, the money will be refunded to you.
