Southwest Jr. High PBIS ACTION PLAN 2017-2018 GOALS 1. Staff Training – Classified and Certified 2. PBIS Lesson Plans – Implement at all School Locations 3. PBIS Program and Procedures – Inform parents and community 4. MTBS Year 3 Training – School Team will attend and complete 5. PBIS Management Procedures – Implement procedures developed during Year 2 6. According to SWISS data Lunch time will be allocated by grade level. 7. Based on SWISS data school Hallways will be allocated by grade level. 8. Students with higher incident referral will be assigned to specific lunch time/social skills training. COACHING/FACILITATION  PBIS SWJH Coach Mr. Molina and – School Counselor, Mrs. Joanicot STRATEGIES AND TRAINING  New Staff Orientation – July 28, 2017  PBIS Procedures and “Lesson Plans” Staff Review – Tier1 Team Aug 4, 2017  PBIS “Lesson Plans”- Student Lessons implemented - Site Staff Aug 8, 9 & 10, 2017  SWISS Data Analysis, 2016/2017 – Data analyzed – School Site PBIS Committee Quarter 1 o Discipline referrals o Suspensions o Attendance o Data Analysis, 2016/2017 – Data trends identified o CICO students will be monitored and new arrivals will be identified.

 Data Analysis, 2016/2017 – Data shared with each respective School Site Staff – School Site PBIS Committee  Swiss information will be used to identify teachers/school staff that will need extra support on reinforcing classroom expectations.  Data from year 2016-2017 will be used to create separate lunches where 7th grade and 8th grade students will be separated. Data will be compared as day progress to analyze effectiveness.  Students coming from elementary will be introduced to SWJH PBIS expectations throughout walkthroughs and school wide events.  PBIS team will be implementing presentations that reinforce behavior expectations as data is analyzed.  Conduct Staff Survey at each site – School Site PBIS Committee  Conduct Student Survey to determine possible incentives PBIS Committee  PTO meetings will be informed about PBIS development for new parents and current.  PBIS update reported to the Governing Board – SWJH school Team RESOURCES  PBIS Lesson Plans  SWISS Discipline Database  PBIS Procedure Guidelines
