Marketing Manager-IBI Events

Informa is looking for an energetic, ambitious Marketing Manager to help our growing Events team within Informa Business Information (IBI) Marketing Services team. In this exciting role, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of events from smaller conferences to large summits and industry awards. This is a “hands on” marketing role which will suit a strong direct marketer who possesses excellent digital marketing communications skills and the ability to liaise with the various publishing divisions within our group.

Reporting to the Marketing Director for IBI Marketing Services, the main responsibilities will be to create, implement and execute marketing plans/campaigns, in order to meet strategic goals and deliver revenue and profit targets for your own series of products. You will devise and execute fully integrated campaigns with a strong emphasis on the digital channels, including email and social media campaigns as well as working with publishing partners. Experience in marketing conferences/awards or content based websites will be essential.

The successful candidate should also demonstrate

 2.1 degree or equivalent, ideally in marketing  Excellent campaign management experience,  Finely honed analytical skills  Ability to thrive under pressure in a target orientated environment  Effective working cross-functionally and in teams  Good degree of cost control and be a win / win negotiator  Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills  Committed to learning and development
