FIELD TRIP FORM

Dear Parents of Junior High students:

I am excited to inform you that we are planning a junior high field trip to see To Kill a Mockingbird on Thursday, April 20th. This will be held at Hale Center Theater West Valley. We will be leaving the school by 10:45 a.m. and arrive at the theater by 11:15. We will eat lunch when we arrive. We will return to the school during the last 30 minutes of the school day.

Students should also be aware of and follow the following Live Theatre Etiquette rules. 1. Much like a movie theatre you should not speak during the performance . . . whispering is still speaking. 2. Cell phones should be turned OFF. 3. Pictures are almost always prohibited and will be for this production as well. 4. Do not put your feet up on the seats in front of you or kick the seat in front of you. 5. Visit the restroom before the performance. 6. DO laugh when the performance is funny. 7. Do applaud when it is appropriate during the performance (blackouts or after major musical numbers) 8. Do applaud when the performance is over. 9. Stand and applaud if you really thought the show was great.

Students are to abide by Ascent’s uniform dress code for this field trip.
