As a larger group:  How do we want to operate to best serve the broader system of care?  How do we best ensure clarity of roles?  How often to meet: o As the larger group? o The smaller work groups? o The work group leaders and a smaller core team?  How to communicate? o Distribution list? o “Learn Share” idea

 How to support this work? o DBH to provide staff support for logistics, meeting notes, dates, etc. o Lynne to facilitate

In small groups:  Organize how/who to communicate as a work group  Review meeting summaries as they specifically relate to your work group  Begin to identify where to BEGIN!

Reports from the work groups:

DATA  Chair: Jeff Elliott  Purpose: coordinating existing data (collection, sharing, etc.); ensure data ‘gaps’ are filled; gather data on specific populations TBD  Need members from other sectors

JUSTICE  Chair: Kristi Williams  Need more clarity as to who is at the table

HEALTHCARE  Chair: Cynthia Hager; considering two co-chairs instead of one Chair  Mapping systems of care and services available; challenges with screening kids if no place to send them for help  Need to engage payers, professional associations, higher education

1 SCHOOLS  Co-chairs: Jon Logan and Trish Small  Sharing of best practices  Consider developing a shared framework for AB 2246 with specifics up to each district on how to implement  Inventory of behavioral health services in each district  What are re-entry processes for kids returning to school after an unsuccessful suicide or impact of a friend’s death?  Build schools-healthcare connections

TRAINING/LEARNING  Chair: Dave Lopez, Kings View  Build on existing training (e.g. OPR, Assist, Mental Health First Aid) and extend through train- the-trainer  Inventory what training resources are available

COMMUNICATION  Chair: Brian Bishop  Develop cross-sector communication plan  Identify communications staff from each organization in the collaborative
