Hearty Congratulations,

You have been provisionally selected for admission to M.Ed Degree Programme of Karnataka State Open University for the Academic Year 2014-15.

Admission Counselling has been arranged for two days on 13.05.2015 and 14.05.2015. You are hereby informed to appear for a Pre-Admission Counselling in the Department of Education, Karnataka State Open University Campus, Mukthagangotri, Mysore.

Kindly report at 10.30 a.m. on 13.05.2015 at Karnataka State Open University, Mysore without fail.

Kindly bring your original certificates for verification and based on your original records you will be given provisional admission on payment of the prescribed fees. Those who do not produce original documents at the time of verification are not eligible for admission. Only those students whose documents are found valid, are permitted to pay the fees. If you fail to pay the fees on the same day, you will be losing your seat.

If you fail to attend the Counselling on 13.05.2015 in the department of Education, KSOU, Mysore and remit the fees, you will be forfeited from getting admission for M.Ed Degree Programme of KSOU. No Second Chance will be given to such candidates. Such vacancies will be filled up by allotting the seats to the next candidates in the merit list as per rules. Therefore you are hereby informed to attend the Counselling without fail.

For Karnataka For Non-Karnataka Details of Fees Students Students Tuition Fee Rs 13,400/- Rs 18,400/- Registration Fee Rs 600/- Rs 600/- Eligibility Fee (The candidates who passed B.Ed. Degree Examination from the Rs 2,000/- Rs 2,000/- Universities outside Karnataka State)

You are expected to bring with you the following documents for the Counselling.

1. B.Ed Marks Cards in original with attested Photo Copies. 2. Latest Service Certificate in original with one attested Photo copy. 3. TC or Migration Certificate in original if you have already obtained. 4. Three (3) Stamp size Photographs. 5. SSLC Marks Card in original with one attested Photo copy. 6. Caste, Category and Income Certificates in original with one attested Photo copies.

SPECIAL NOTE: Candidates claiming reservation under SC / ST / C-1 / 2A / 2B / 3A / 3B / PH / DEF / EX Service, Kannada Medium and Hydrabad-Karnataka must produce valid certificates. Those who fail to produce relevant documents at the time of Pre-Admission Counselling will not be given admission by the University.

Note: On the first day of Counselling Programme original documents will be verified and study centre will be alloted through counselling. On the second day, students are required to pay tution fee and after submission of fee paid challen study materials will be distributed to them.

For the Attention of SC/ST Students Dear Students, The following documents are to be attached to the Fee Reimbursement Application. 1. Enter on-line registration number along with Thumb Impression obtained from the Taluk Social Welfare Department in the application. 2. Enclose photo copy of Caste Certificate. 3. Enclose photo copy of Father’s/Mother’s/Guardian’s Income Certificate. 4. Annual Income of the family should not exceed 2,50,000 5. Enclose photo copy of Aadhar card/ Ration card/ Voter’s ID Card 6. Enclose photo copy of SSLC Marks Card. 7. Original Salary Certificate is to be enclosed. 8. Enclose marks cards of the previous years. 9. If Father/ Mother is/ are dead enclose Death Certificate. 10. If female student is married, enclose Income Certificate of the husband, if husband is employed, enclose Salary Certificate. 11. Except original documents, photo copies of the other documents are to be attested by gazetted officer.
