6. PLANNING APPLICATION – 1/D/13/001176 – THE SQUARE (DECISION) To CONSIDER the planning application to erect a war memorial in Beaminster Square in order to meet the District Council’s response deadline.

ALLOTMENT & CEMETERY WORKING PARTY (DECISION) To NOTE the minutes of the Allotment & Cemetery Working Party meeting held on 11th September 2013 (attached) and CONSIDER the recommendations therein. 8. 9. APPLICATION TO RENEW STREET TRADING CONSENT – THE SQUARE (DECISION) To CONSIDER application to re-new street trading consent in respect of Jalopy Pizza between the hours of 5 – 9pm on Thursday’s

LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION (DECISION) Following public consultation on Council size the Commission has adopted a council size of 43 for West Dorset District Council for the purpose of the next stage of the review – consultation on warding arrangements, this review will run from 3rd September to 11th November – to CONSIDER whether the Town Council wishes to put forward any proposals with regard to a new pattern of ward arrangements for the District Council.

11. POLICE & CRIME COMMISSIONER TO DORSET (DECISION) Martin Underhill, the Police & Crime Commissioner for Dorset has been particularly interested in Council’s experiences when dealing with their local PACT and has asked, via the DAPTC for Parish and Town Council’s response to the question - What makes a good PACT? To CONSIDER the Town Council’s response

12. RURAL SERVICES NETWORK – RURAL FAIR SHARE PETITION (DECISION) The Rural Services Network believes that the Government need to further improve on their settlement for rural local authorities, giving rural areas a fairer slice of the funding cake in the future. Members are being asked to sign a petition requesting “that the House of Commons urges the Government to reduce the Rural Penalty in staged steps by at least 10% by 2020”.
