Dear Members,

The International Taekwon-Do Federation has the honour to invite you to the I.T.F. Tournament & Umpire Course to be held in Budapest, Hungary on March 31st , April 1st and 2nd , 2006.

The Course is open to Black Belts 2nd degree and above.

The main purpose of the course is to:

 introduce modifications in the ITF competition rules which shall be implemented from January 2006.  introduce modifications in ITF fundamental exercises and Patterns.  align umpires, coaches and technical directors around the world concerning umpiring and tournament organizational matters.  prepare umpires (4th degree and above) officiating in the upcoming World Championships to be held in Honduras 2006, Spain 2006 and Canada 2007.

2 Course Fee and Organization cost:

Euro 75,00 per person - ITF Plaque certificate holders Euro 65,00 per person

Hotel Accommodation: Hotel accommodation must be booked through ITF Hungary (see application form) Participants shall be accommodated in Hotel Stadion, Ifjúság útja 1-3, Budapest

Accommodation Cost (minimum 3 nights): Euro 55,00 per person per day sharing a double room accommodation. Euro 77,00 per person per day single room occupation Prices include the following:  breakfast and lunch (no drinks included).  Refreshment during the seminar  Parking free on the guarded hotel ground  Free return transfer from the airport to the hotel  Free transport from the hotel to the sports hall  Free use of the fitness Center

Requirements of the participants:  They must be I.T.F. members holding a 2nd Degree black belt or above.  They must show at the registration their ITF Black Belt Degree card (small ID card).  They must be dressed during the theory seminar according to the ITF Umpire rules and regulations -blue jacket, blue trousers, blue tie, white shirt, white socks, white gymnastic shoes and a pen, or in dobok or track suit during the practice seminar.

After the course participants 2nd and 3rd Degree black belt may request through their National Association the ITF Class “B” Umpire Certificate.

After the course participants 4th degree and above may request through their National Association the ITF Class “A” Umpire Certificate.

The “A” and “B” Umpire certificate cost is not included in the course cost.

We have three terminals, T1, T2A and T2B, which are slightly far from each other, so we need detailed information from the participants to transfer them in order.

4 Hotel Stadion Budapest
