1. A sepulchral effigy (circa 1350) in mail, lying on the ledge of the fourth window on the left-hand side, having a lion passant on his shield with the inscription:- HIC:IACET:MEURIC:FILIUS:YNYR:VYCHAN (Here lies Meurig(c), the son of Ynyr Vychan) PSD1, D2, D3 & D4
This is different from the description in ‘Griffith’s Pedigrees…p 201’, which has Meuric as Maurica

Underneath lie the Remains of LEWIS NANNEY of LLWYN Esq. One of his Majesty’s Justices Of the peace for this County Who, having lived much respected And beloved, died sincerely regarded By his Family and Neighbours In particular, His Acquaintance And the Publick in general On the 27th of Aug 1779 aged 63. This monument, small tribute Of her esteem, was erected by Order of his Mournful Widow ANN NANNEY

In Gratitude to the memory of One of The Best of fathers Lewis Nanney of Llwyn aforesaid Esq. (his only son by Mary Wynne Daugh.r of Howel Wynne Late of Llangower Esq.r Deceased) Caused This Monument to be Erected. Underneath also lieth the Body Of Mary Nanney Daugh.r of the said Lewis Nanney by Anne his Wife Who dyed the 7th of May 1751 Aged 1?
