Coming in 2012: Solo performance at the Sonorities festival in Belfast. Participation in the Amsterdam Contemporay recorder competition, De Link competition of contemporary music, and Krakow competition of contemporary music. Member of the Ligeti Academy, performing in the Muziekgebouw aan 't Ij. Collaboration with pianist Sarah Nicolls, London. Concert tours with the Amsterdam Collage Ensemble and duo nasa. Concerts in NL, UK and Northern Ireland.

2011 Performance in the Gaudeamus Music Festival with the Amsterdam Collage Ensemble, with a prize-nominated composition by Oda Yu. Solo concert at the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, as part of their hmcf// shorts programme. Performances with the Ligeti Academy, under the tuition of AskoSchönberg. Concert with PRIME Recorder Ensemble of Lausanne, directed by Antonio Politano. Recorded for RSR Swiss radio. Founding of Paetzold recorder/bass panflute duo nasa. Solo performance in the Muziekgebouw aan ‘t Ij, Amsterdam. Tutor of whistle and dance for a fourth year, as FolkWorld music week (Devon, England) goes independent. Joined the recorder trio/collective aXolot. Commencement of Masters degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, with Jorge Isaac.

2010 Music theatre tour of production Woestijnwind around Netherlands with Jeugdtheater Sonnevanck, to be reprised in 2013. Recorded for Dutch RTL television. Concert tour with contemporary recorder duo ake.taki. Piece developed in collaboration with improvisation duo Esprit de Curiosités. Concert programme Versailles in Duitsland with the Sweelinck Baroque Orchestra. Tutor of whistle, recorder and clog dance on courses based at Exeter University. Solo concerts in England. Acceptance to project New Music, New Media with the Britten-Pears organisation. Finalist in the Park Lane Group concert series, London. Earned a Bachelors degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, with acceptance to the Masters programme.

2009 Awarded the Countess of Munster Musical Scholarship. Finalist in the Julius Isserlis Scholarship Competition. Concerts in the Netherlands and Poland with ake.taki. Contemporary improvisation collaboration with Rhizomatic art gallery in Amsterdam- Noord. Composition and premiere of a new work Prece, for recorders, voices and electronics. Development of the electronic musical collective Badger Underground.

2008 Founding of contemporary recorder duo ake.taki. Performances of a new arrangement and staging of Mozart’s opera Die Zauberflöte. Performances as concertmaster of Purcell’s opera Dido and Aeneas. World premiere of contemporary opera Medea by Tania Sikelanou. Three concert tours of the UK with the Birmingham Folk Ensemble. Recording of an album Based on a True Story with The Old Dance School. Tutor of recorder, whistle and dance on the FolkWorld course at the Dartington Summer School.

2007 Graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire with a first class honours degree. Concert tours of the UK with The Constance Consort and Birmingham Folk Ensemble. BBC radio interviews and television appearances with ensemble The Old Dance School. Performances of Handel’s opera King Arthur in Devonshire. Solo concerts of recorder and live electronics in England and Holland. Began to give workshops with Stichting MeMo. Began recorder studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, under the tuition of Jorge Isaac and Paul Leenhouts. Began second study of the Indonesian Gamelan, under the tuition of Elsje Plantema.

2006 Winner of the Birmingham Conservatoire Recorder Prize. Finalist in the Doris Newton Music Prize. Finalist in the ERTA Consort Competition. Ensemble in residence at the Woodhouse Recorder Summer School with The Constance Consort. World premiere of Gamelbati - a concerto for gamelan and chamber orchestra by Tazul Tajuddin. Performances of Matthew Locke’s opera Psyche in the Crescent theatre, Birmingham. Private lessons with Julien Feltrin, Royal College of Music.

2005 Performances of Purcell’s opera The Fairy Queen in the Crescent theatre, Birmingham. Attained DipABRSM in recorder performance, with distinction. Began studies of live electronics and electro-acoustic music.

2004 Concert tour of the Netherlands. Renaissance consort music for a series of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at The Merlin Theatre, Sheffield. Began second study of the Indonesian Gamelan, under tuition of Jonathan Roberts.

2003 Concert tour in Germany and Luxemburg. A levels in music, biology and chemistry. Began recorder studies at Birmingham Conservatoire, under the tuition of Ross Winters and Annabel Knight.

2002 Winner of the Recorder Open Solo and Recorder Consort prizes, Derbyshire Arts Festival. Concert tour of Belgium.

1995 - 2003 Leader of the Derbyshire Youth Recorder Consort, including performances at The Assembly Rooms and the Guildhall. Regular participation in competitions. Masterclasses with Walter van Hauwe, Dan Laurin, Anneke Boeke, Lucio Garau, Adrian Brown, Thiemo Wind, Alfredo Bernadini, Jean-Pierre Boullet, Katriina Boosey, Rebecca Austen-Brown, and Louise Bradbury.
