Another basketball season is quickly approaching and I wanted to share some of my thoughts on the select basketball program we have at Glacier Peak. We are very fortunate to have a dedicated group of people that give a tremendous amount of effort and time for the better meant of Glacier Peak Basketball. The GSBA is an important part of the success both the boys and girls programs have achieved in our short histories. The most important aspect is playing with your classmates, peers and future Grizzlies. This cannot be overstated. High school sports are about your community and school. The wins and losses will blur together but the bonds and friendships from years of playing together will last a lifetime. Select basketball only strengthens those bonds. I attend as many games as possible and enjoy watching the teams compete against the high level of competition the league and tournaments provide.
