June 21, 2010 LARCENIES FROM AUTOMOBILES

Since June 1st, there have been several larcenies from autos occurring in eastern Prince William County. These larcenies have been occurring during nighttime hours, and a variety of items have been stolen from unlocked vehicles. There are no suspects at this time, but please remember to report all suspicious activity to the police.

When it comes to safety and security, always remember:

 When you exit your vehicle lock it, even if you are expecting to be away for only a few minutes.

 Do not leave your valuables – such as GPS units, purses, wallets, or keys – in the vehicle when it is unattended. Bring these items inside with you.

Neighborhood Watch members are encouraged to drive through their particular areas and be aware of suspicious activity and vehicles.
