 Do you allow outside catering? o Although the catering is typically provided by New York Food Company, you do have the option to bring in a licensed and insured caterer for the “Opt-Out” option for $1,500.  Is there a cake cutting fee? o If you would like to provide your own wedding cake, there is a $3.50 cake cutting fee per person. The cake must come from a licensed and insured bakery.  Do you have kids meals? o Yes, the traditional meal for children ages 4-11 is $35 and includes a fresh fruit plate, chicken tenders, cheese pizza, steamed broccoli and mac and cheese. You may also serve a smaller portion of your adult entrée for the same price.  If we select the Hosted Bar Package, is there any additional cost to bring in additional alcohol to enhance the bar? o We do not charge any corkage fee if you would like to bring in your own alcohol in addition to our Hosted Bar option. Any left over, unopened alcohol that you provide will be sent home with you.  Can we offer our guests choices of their meals? o Yes, if you would like to offer choices for your guests, there is an additional $250 flat chef fee for the extra labor required in the kitchen. You can offer your guests two entrée choices, plus a vegetarian option. The two side dishes will be the same for both entrees.

VENDORS  Can I bring in my own vendors? o Yes, you may select to use any vendors that you like, as long as they can provide us with a copy of their liability insurance.  Can I have a friend be my photographer/florist/DJ/etc.? o If you choose to use a vendor that does not have insurance, they will be required to purchase day-of insurance. Each uninsured vendor needs to have day of insurance or annual liability insurance in general, with $1,000,000.00 coverage. A great resource for purchasing day-of insurance is through RV Nuccio at http://www.rvnuccio.com/  Do you have a vendor referral list? o Yes, a copy of our preferred vendor list will be provided once you are booked with us!  How early can my vendors arrive to set up? o Vendor set up time is 1½ hours prior to your scheduled start time. OTHER  Do you require an outside coordinator? o Verandas will provide you with a complimentary on-site event coordinator that works with you about six months prior to your event. Your coordinator also doubles as your day-of coordinator and will help run and execute your event from start to finish. We do welcome outside coordinators if you choose to work with one.  Do my guests have to pay for parking? o No, all of the parking is complimentary on site.  Does Verandas provide tables & chairs? o Yes Verandas will provide all dinner and cocktail tables, glassware, flatware, and china for your event.  Can I rent additional furniture or different reception items to be used on my event? o Yes, please let your coordinator know what pieces you are interested in and they will get a quote for you. All outside rentals must be coordinated through La Venta Inn.  Can we have sparklers at our event? o Unfortunately sparklers are a fire hazard and restricted. Other restricted items include rice and confetti.

 Are we allowed to use real candles?

o Yes, all candles brought in must be in a votive or hurricane container that fully covers the height of the flame. We cannot allow any open flames, as they are a fire hazard. The only restriction to this is if your florist will be hanging lanterns in the ballroom, they must be LED candles for safety reasons.  Are there any other items that Verandas can provide at no additional cost? o Yes, Verandas provides table easels for framed pictures, table numbers in silver frames, cake cutting knife, & cake server.
