Jurisdiction Verizon

CR Type Type 4 - Verizon Initiated

Description New edits will be established to assist CLECs in formatting residential and business Directory Listings that include numeric’s, roman numerals, hyphens and certain specified listing prefixes. This will ensure the Directory Listings are displayed accurately.

Details Verizon will invoke the following listing conditions:  Listing prefixes; Mt – Mount, Ft – Fort, St - Saint  When a listing has the prefix – Mt, Ft or St a period is no longer valid after the abbreviation.  When a listing prefix is – Mt, Ft or St; the second word of the listing must be in the same field. Example Mt Pilot Herald LNLN Mt Pilot and LNFN Herald Exception, When two of the abbreviated listing prefixes are used together no second word is required. Example: Mt St Helen’s (LNLN Mt and LNFN St Helen’s).  Hyphenated listings must have the entire hyphenated word in the same field. Example U-Haul America (In-correct) LNLN U- and LNFN Haul America; (Correct) LNLN U-Haul and LNFN America Exception, When a listing contains more than one hyphen this edit will not be invoked Example AFT-West Virginia-AFL-CIO LNLN AFT- and LNFN = West Virginia-AFL-CIO  Listings containing a numeric character or Roman Numeral in the LNLN or LNFN field require a PLA (Place Listing As) instruction.  Customer Service Inquiry Response (Verizon West) will support the LNPL (Letter Name Placement).

31801/ 15087 – Change DD’s in Verizon West on Loops Requiring Conditioning

Jurisdiction: Verizon – West

Description: This initiative will establish specific intervals on 2 Wire non-designed UNE loops that require conditioning. The new intervals impact ADSL, IDSL, SDSL, and ISDN Capable loops.

Details: Currently the process for provisioning ADSL, IDSL, SDSL, and ISDN Capable loops when conditioning is required results in the assignment of a DD (Due Date) that is too short. As a result these loop orders receive a jeopardy and the DD is moved out to accommodate the work order for the conditioning activity. The new specific intervals for 2W non-designed UNE loops that require conditioning are:  Texas - 10 business days  All other states - 11 business days.
