MADAM SECRETARY (Drama) (Sunday, 8-9PM) Elizabeth McCord is a former CIA analyst, college professor and the newly appointed Secretary of State. Elizabeth was recruited by her old friend, the President himself, after her predecessor’s plane went down under suspicious circumstances. A brilliant woman with a supportive husband and two kids, she accepts the position and steps into a whirlwind of international diplomacy and foreign problems. Elizabeth works best “outside the box, if there even is a box” and following protocol isn’t in her vocabulary as she has to remind the President at times that’s why he hired her! MCCARTHYS, THE (Comedy) (Thursday, 9:30-10PM) A tight knit Boston family isn’t ready to lose their mother’s favorite son Ronny, who happens to be gay, when he announces he wants to move away; and to Providence no less! You can believe this loud, politically incorrect; sports fanatical family has an opinion on that. When their father chooses Ronny, the least athletically inclined person in the family to replace his deceased assistant high school basketball coach, everyone is shocked. They are even more stunned when Ronny’s sister announces she is pregnant by said dead assistant coach. Ronny decides that he can’t pass up this chance to get to know his father better and help his soon-to-be single mom sister. This isn’t the path he had originally chosen for the future, but right now it looks pretty bright. NCIS: NEW ORLEANS (Drama) (Tuesday, 9-10PM) In this NCIS spin-off, Special Agent Dwayne “King” Pride, Special Agent Christopher LaSalle, Special Agent Meredith “Merri” Brody and coroner Dr. Loretta Wade are tasked with investigating criminal cases affecting military personnel in New Orleans, the city known for its music, entertainment and decadence. Pride’s team of investigators, all top notch, bring varied approaches and different personalities to the unit and they all have various reasons for being in this colorful city. SCORPION (Drama) (Monday, 9-10PM) A genius group of misfits have just been hired by Federal Agent Cabe Gallo of Homeland Security to solve the unsolvable, complex high tech threats of the new age. This unique “think tank” is led by one of the smartest people in the world, Walter O’Brien who has a distressing history with Gallo. Toby Curtis, the behaviorist; Happy Quinn, the mechanical prodigy; and Sylvester Dodd, the statistics guru round out the team code-named “Scorpion”, each bringing an invaluable skill set to the table. Although they are all geniuses and need no help out-smarting others, they are socially challenged. Enter Paige Dineen, a gutsy waitress and single mother with a gifted son she can’t connect with. If she joins Scorpion, Walter hopes to help her understand her son and in turn, Paige will be their lifeline to the world they don’t fit in to. Inspired by a true story. STALKER (Drama) (Wednesday, 10-11PM) The Threat Assessment Unit (TAU) of the LAPD is taking on stalking incidents, which include voyeurism, cyber harassment and romantic fixation. All of which are some of the hardest crimes to prove. Lieutenant Beth Davis’ leads the squad; an expert in her field she is motivated by her own personal demons and as a victim herself is even more driven to protect others. Detective Jack Larsen, the newest member of the team, is a transfer from the NYPD’s homicide division with his own suspicious reasons for wanting to join TAU. Looking to take down the bad guys, he chooses Detective Russ Agnew, a cynical, gruff, tough guy as his partner. These two polar opposite law enforcement officers just might make one dynamic team. Together they will try to clean up the streets of the economically distressed city of Battle Creek. That is if they don’t kill each other first! CSI: CYBER (Drama) (Wednesday, 10-11PM) Special Agent Avery Ryan is out to capture the newest type of criminal in today’s digital era. Leading the CSI: Cyber Crime unit of the FBI, Ryan will put a microscope to those who hide behind their computers, committing the most heinous, anonymous acts of fraud, stalking, murder and much more. Real-Life Cyber Psychologist Mary Aiken’s advanced technological work has inspired this new drama that will take the CSI franchise to a whole new level. Former college friends, Oscar is the grouchy slob with a heart and Felix is the most uptight neat freak you’ll ever meet. Both divorced, Felix moves in with Oscar in the hopes they can help each other move on. Even with his doubts, after all is said and done, Oscar may not see his decision to let Felix move in as crazy as he thought! Each week two families are faced with finding out all the details of each other’s financial hardships and are challenged with the choice of keeping all the money for themselves or holding onto part of it and giving away some. What they don’t know is that the other family was presented with the same briefcase, same instructions and same 72 hours to make a decision.
