Meeting called to order by Derrell Signh at 7:40 pm.

Ben made a motion to approve the meeting minutes. Chet seconded, motion approved with a change

Public forum – none

New Business  Ernie – Blaine Dugout club; supports Blaine HS baseball program – wants a dual batting cage at the BBC. At a disadvantage in Blaine Baseball. SBAA is one of the primary feeders for Blaine HS Baseball. Project consists of dual batting cages/concrete pad $7000, $8000 35*56 feet. Got 6000 Blaine, 3000 Blaine Traveling Baseball , 2000 Blaine Fusion so have about 11000. Still have a lot of things to work on; still need to get approval from the city. Try to use volunteer labor; $15,000. SBAA donated before to build a new mound. Hoping a primary sponser can be SBAA. Where do the Soderville kids fall in this? When they get to Blaine HS/BATBA they will get to utilize this. Blaine Youth Hockey possibly $2000/Carl Nyberg possible donation. Derrell – What is the possibility of us getting the same thing?  Field Recommendations for 2016 – Each entity any ideas or thoughts that we need to get to Craig for a budget for 2016 for things that we need to improve on that would give him to place to start what we can and can’t do.  2016 Increases – In house has been carrying SBAA for many years; now that In-house is on there own SBAA is not making it. 3 card fundraiser or increase cost of registration (per child cost to administer)  Service Fees – Moving forward in-house and fastpitch will pay their own registration service fees  Concessions Theft – Teen worker was found with extra $ - $3000 80 hours of unpaid volunteer time  Meeting times and dates – Meetings from September through April on Wednesdays off-season at the lanes 7:00.  Assignments – will talk about at next meeting  Fiscal Year – Thinking of changing Fiscal Year for 2016 ending in July or August sometime

Eric P nominated Derrell to take the open president position–Ben seconded the nomination. Motion approved for Derrell to be on the SBAA President. Ben S nominated Eric P to take the open vice-president position- Chet seconded the nomination. Motion approved for Eric to be the SBAA Vice President
