Site Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Candidate will act as the onsite single point of contact providing oversight and support for all aspects of the Real Time Location System’s (RTLS) implementation. Duties will include interacting and coordinating with customer points of contact, subcontractors, vendors, and other internal and external project management teams to ensure all tasks are accomplished smoothly, timely and IAW contractual standards. Responsibilities include the following  Act as subject matter expert on RTLS IT systems.  Provide end-user support on RTLS IT systems.  Manage multiple project efforts simultaneously, reporting status of those projects, and ensuring the projects complete as expected.  Coordinate the installation, configuration and testing of a variety of network hardware and software in support of the RTLS implementation  Manage the daily administration of assigned tasks for employees, subcontractors and vendors.  Keep customers, subcontractors, vendors and senior management team informed of current progress, schedule concerns, etc. Elevate issues to Program Management Office as required  Conduct conference calls and briefings to senior program leadership and end user program managers. Prepare and submit status reports ensuring that all facets of the program’s progress is accurately tracked  Schedule and coordinate access with appropriate VA staff to provide access for subcontractor into restricted areas or locations that require off-hour installations  Verify receipt of all equipment received and resolve any deficiencies in product, serial number differences, and/or discrepancies in needed materials.

Requirements:  Candidate must have experience managing Information Technology related projects.  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline  10 Years of relevant experience  8 Years of additional relevant Experience may be substituted for the education requirement  Experience in WiFi and RF technologies  Ability to pass a background check and obtain / maintain a Department of Veterans Affairs Security Clearance is required By Light Professional IT Services, Inc. 3101 Wilson Blvd., Suite 850, Arlington, VA 22201 ♦ Phone 703-224-1000

 Ability to operate in a fast paced 7/24/365 environment with a demanding client  Must have exceptional interpersonal, client service and liaison skills  Excellent verbal communications skills and Customer interface experience. Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence  100% proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)  Experience in healthcare information technology is highly desirable
