Acts 4:8-12; 1 John 3:1-2; John 10:11-18 50B

APRIL 26, 2009 Dear Friends,

FOURTH SUNDAY OF EASTER We are once again blessed this Sunday to share their first Acts 4:8-12; 1 John 3:1-2; John 10:11-18 [50B] Eucharist with our children from the Children Religious Education program. And next Sunday, (May 10th) four of our young members will receive the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Confirmation. In these special moments of our tremendous grace we feel that presence of the Lord Jesus as he gathers these youngsters into even closer friendship and love.

I am in Lourdes, France, this weekend as a chaplain to the sick who are brought there in the annual pilgrimage of the world- wide Order of the Knights and Dames of Malta. Over 8,000 members and sick persons will be together in prayer and “… then all of you and all the people of Israel service. I promise to remember each of you in our daily Masses should know that it was in the name of Jesus in this lovely place where the Virgin Mary approached Saint Christ the Nazarene whom you crucified, Bernadette 150 years ago. It has been a place of inspiration whom God raised from the dead; in His name and healing ever since. this man stands before you healed. He is stone rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. There is no God’s Blessing salvation through anyone else.” Fr. John P. McGuire, O.P.
