Housing Options Officer
Salary: £23,917 - £27,436 (Grade E) £28,079 - £32,094 (Grade F) (Dependant on qualifications and experience) Plus Essential User car allowance
Hours: 37 per week
Shepway District Council, based in Folkestone, Kent, serves a population of 108,000 and covers a district of 140 square miles. The M20 offers easy access to London and the high speed rail service offers travel times to the capital of under an hour.

The position of Housing Options Officer will deliver an efficient and effective Housing Options, Homelessness Prevention and Statutory Homelessness Assessment service, in accordance with agreed policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will have recent and relevant experience of either, assessing homelessness and/or providing housing advice. The candidate will also need to have detailed knowledge of homelessness legislation, guidance and best practice.
